Indications

• First aid cream
• Prevents infections
• Provides temporary relief of pain

Pharmacology

• Combination of Neomycin
• Combination of Polymyxin B
• Combination of Pramoxine HCl
• Neomycin is bactericidal for gram-positive organisms
• Neomycin is bactericidal for gram-negative organisms
• Neomycin inhibits protein synthesis
• Polymyxin B is bactericidal for gram-negative organisms
• Polymyxin B increases bacterial cell membrane permeability
• Pramoxine provides temporary relief of pain

Dosage & Administration

• Clean affected area before application
• Apply a small amount of product
• May be covered with a sterile bandage
• Not recommended for children below 2 years of age

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to Neomycin
• Hypersensitivity to Polymyxin B
• Hypersensitivity to Pramoxine
• Hypersensitivity to any other components

Side Effects

• Topical antibiotics may cause cutaneous sensitization
• Manifestations of sensitization include itching
• Manifestations of sensitization include reddening
• No common side effects reported in small doses

Pregnancy & Lactation

• Use during pregnancy if potential benefit justifies risk
• Unknown excretion in breast milk
• Exercise caution during nursing

Precautions & Warnings

• Do not use in eyes
• Avoid application to large body areas
• Do not use longer than one week without physician's direction
