Indications
- Topical treatment of inflammatory dermal infections
- Tinea pedis
- Tinea cruris
- Tinea corporis
Pharmacology
- Broad-spectrum antifungal agent
- Inhibition of ergosterol synthesis
- Antifungal against pathogenic dermatophytes, yeasts, Malassezia furfur
- Corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory properties
Dosage & Administration
- Sufficient topical application twice a day
- 2 weeks for tinea cruris and tinea corporis
- 4 weeks for tinea pedis
- Not recommended for use longer than four weeks
- Not established safety and effectiveness in children below 12 years

Contraindications
- Contraindicated for patients sensitive to components or other corticosteroids/imidazoles
- Discontinue if irritation/sensitization develops
- Contraindicated in facial rosacea, acne vulgaris, perioral dermatitis, perianal and genital pruritus, napkin eruptions, bacterial or viral infections
- Systemic absorption may cause reversible HPA axis suppression
- Pediatric patients more susceptible to systemic toxicity
