Indications
- Relief of inflammatory manifestations
- Relief of pruritic manifestations
- Treatment of corticosteroid responsive eczema/dermatitis
Pharmacology
- High topical anti-inflammatory potency
- Low HPA-axis suppressive activity
- Therapeutic index greater than most commonly available steroids
- Selective for glucocorticoid receptor
- Minimal affinity for progesterone receptor
- Negligible affinity for mineralocorticoid, estrogen, or androgen receptors
- Half-life of approximately 10 hours
Dosage & Administration
- Cream: Once daily application
- Ointment: Twice daily application
- Apply a thin layer to affected skin areas

Contraindications
- Rosacea
- Acne vulgaris
- Perioral dermatitis
- Primary cutaneous viral infections
- Hypersensitivity to any ingredients
- Perianal and genital pruritus
- Not indicated for primarily infected skin lesions caused by fungi or bacteria
- Not indicated for dermatoses in children under one year of age
