Interaction

• Thiazide-induced hyperglycemia
• Thiazide-induced hypokalemia
• Increased incidence of peptic ulcer
• Gastrointestinal bleeding with NSAIDs
• Response alteration to anticoagulants
• Increased dose of antidiabetics
• Increased dose of antihypertensives
• Reduced serum concentration of salicylates
• Reduced serum concentration of antimuscarinic agents
• Increased gastric mucosal irritation with ethanol
• Reduced efficacy with concurrent carbamazepine use
• Reduced efficacy with concurrent phenytoin use
• Reduced efficacy with concurrent primidone use
• Reduced efficacy with concurrent barbiturates use
• Reduced efficacy with concurrent rifampicin use
• Mutual metabolism inhibition with ciclosporin
• Increased plasma concentration with concurrent use of corticosteroids
• Enhanced effect in women taking estrogens or oral contraceptives
• Additive nephrotoxic effect with aminoglycosides
• Additive neurotoxic effect with aminoglycosides
• Enhanced toxicity with potent diuretics
