Indications
- Treatment of fungal infections with inflammation symptoms
- Treatment of dermatomycoses due to dermatophytes (e.g. Trichophyton species), moulds and other fungi
- Treatment of dermatomycoses due to yeasts (Candida species)
- Treatment of skin diseases showing secondary infection with fungi
- Treatment of nappy rash with Candida albicans infection
Pharmacology
- Clotrimazole as a broad-spectrum antifungal agent
- Hydrocortisone as a glucocorticoid with glucocorticoid and mineralocorticoid activity
Dosage & Administration
- Application thinly and evenly to affected area twice daily
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to any components of the preparation
Side Effects
- Rarely local mild burning or irritation
- Hypersensitivity reactions
Precautions & Warnings
- In infants, napkins may act as an occlusive dressing and increase absorption
- Treatment should be for a maximum period of seven days
