Description
- For the topical treatment of inflamed dermatoses with infection and inflammation
- Treats eczema, dermatitis, intertrigo, and infected eczema
- Useful against dermatophytes, pathogenic yeasts, and gram-positive bacteria
DosageAndAdministration
- Apply as a thin film 2-4 times daily for 1-2 weeks
- Rub well with finger until fully vanished on the skin
- Continue treatment at least one week after signs and symptoms disappear
Interaction
- Amphotericin antagonizes the activity of Miconazole
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in individuals who are hypersensitive to any components
- Should not be used in pregnant or lactating mothers without physician's advice
SideEffects
- Rare local sensitivity may occur
- Long-term use may decrease production of natural hormones by adrenal gland
