Description
- Broad spectrum antimycotic
- Anti-inflammatory
- Anti-pruritic
- Anti-allergic effects
- Composed of Econazole Nitrate
- Composed of Triamcinolone Acetonide

Dosage & Administration
- Adult dosage: 2 times daily application
- Preferable morning and evening application
- Avoid occlusive dressing
- Avoid application on large areas of skin
- Duration of treatment: until inflammatory symptoms subside but not longer than 2 weeks
Interaction
- Metabolized by CYP3A4/2C9
- Interactions with oral anticoagulants
- Interactions with NSAIDs
- Interactions with antidiabetics
- Interactions with amphotericin B, beta-blockers, potassium-depleting diuretics, theophylline
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any ingredients
- Contraindicated in specific skin conditions
- Contraindicated in viral, bacterial or fungal skin infections
Side Effects
- Transient local mild irritation
- Itching & redness
- Adrenal suppression on long term continuous topical steriod therapy
- Infant susceptibility to topical corticosteroid-induced HPA axis suppression and Cushing's syndrome
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Topical administration of corticosteroids during pregnancy can cause abnormalities of foetal development
- Topical steroids in large amounts or for prolonged periods should not be used in pregnancy
- Negligible excretion in breast milk
- Lactation should be withheld during treatment
Precautions & Warnings
- External use only
- Hypersensitivity or chemical irritation reaction alert
- Systemic effects including adrenal suppression
- Skin thinning and atrophy
- Increased risk of dermatological superinfection or opportunistic infection
- Increased absorption in children's skin
- Visual disturbance may be associated with systemic and topical corticosteroid use
Overdose Effects
- For cutaneous application only
- Systemic effects in case of accidental absorption
- Symptomatic treatment for accidental ingestion
- Medical attention for accidental eye application
