Indications
- Combination antibiotic and steroid
- Skin infection treatment
- Relieves itching and swelling
Composition
- Triamcinolone: 1 mg
- Neomycin: 2.5 mg
- Nystatin: 10000 unit
- Gramicidin: 0.25 mg
Pharmacology
- Triamcinolone: Fluorinated corticosteroid with anti-inflammatory, antipruritic and anti-allergic actions
- Nystatin: Polyene antifungal antibiotic that binds to ergosterol and interferes with the permeability of cell membrane of susceptible fungi
- Neomycin: Aminoglycoside used topically against susceptible staphylococci and other organisms
- Gramicidin: Antibacterial substance extracted from tyrothricin, active against many Gram-positive bacteria
Dosage & Administration
- For skin use only
- Apply 2 to 3 times daily
- Clean and dry affected area before application
- Do not use inside the nose unless directed by doctor
- Do not bandage the treated area
- Do not use large amounts or for longer time than directed
Interaction
- Doctor or pharmacist should be consulted before using other skin products or medications
- Monitoring for possible drug interactions
- Avoid usage with aminoglycoside antibiotics or corticosteroids taken by mouth
Contraindications
- Tuberculous, viral, or fungal lesions of the skin
- Facial rosacea, acne vulgaris, or perioral dermatitis
- Not to be applied to the external auditory canal in patients with perforated tympanic membranes
- Not recommended for children under 1 year

Precautions & Warnings

- Avoid contact with eyes or mucous membranes
- Discontinue use if no clinical improvement after 7 days
- Limit use to 5 days on face or children under 1 year
- Use with caution on inflamed or damaged skin
- Use with caution during pregnancy
