Composition
- Lactase USP 9000 IU per chewable tablet
- Lactase USP 0.11 gm equivalent to 3333.33 units per ml drop
Pharmacology
- Lactase breaks down lactose to produce glucose and galactose via hydrolysis
- Makes dairy foods easier to digest
Dosage & Administration
- 1 chewable tablet with dairy food
- Adjustable dosage of up to 2 tablets at a time
- Paediatric drops can be added to breast milk or formula
- Specific instructions for adding drops to breast milk and formula
Interaction
- No known interactions with Laczym have been found
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in patients with known hypersensitivity to lactase or any other components of the product
