Noir 4% (Cream)

Indications

• Gradual bleaching of hyperpigmented skin conditions
• Reduction of hyperpigmentation caused by photosensitization
• Treatment of melasma, chloasma, freckles, and senile lentigines

Pharmacology

• Topical depigmentating agent
• Inhibits enzymatic oxidation of tyrosine
• Suppresses melanocyte metabolic processes

Dosage & Administration

• Apply once daily, 30 minutes before bedtime
• Use on hyperpigmented areas
• Discontinue when control is achieved
• Use sunscreen of SPF 30 during the day

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity or allergic reaction to hydroquinone

Side Effects

• Occasional hypersensitivity (localized contact dermatitis)

Pregnancy & Lactation

• Pregnancy Category C
• Caution advised during lactation

Precautions & Warnings

• Test for skin sensitivity before use
• Avoid contact with eyes and lips
• Do not apply to cut or abraded skin
• Discontinue if no bleaching effect after 2 months

Overdose Effects

• Transient reddening of skin
• Mild burning sensation
