Indications
- Treatment of androgenic alopecia in males and females
- Stabilization of hair loss in patients with androgenic alopecia
- Treatment of alopecia areata
Pharmacology
- Stimulates hair growth
- Increases oxygen, blood, and nutrient supply to hair follicles
- Widens blood vessels
- Inhibits androgen hormone affecting hair follicles
- Topical application absorption rate
- Excretion in urine
Dosage & Administration
- External use only
- Apply to clean and dry hair and scalp
- Apply 1 ml (7 sprays) twice daily
- Allow to remain on scalp for about 4 hours before washing
- Night-time application timing
- Application limit not exceeding 2 ml daily
- Not to be massaged into the scalp
- Avoid using a hair dryer for drying
- Do not mix with hair oil
- Avoid oral use or application to other body parts
- Wash hands after application
- Clinical experience duration for hair growth
- Use for not less than 45 days
- Adjust strength based on the severity of hair loss
Interaction
- Avoid use with other topical agents altering the stratum corneum barrier
- Potential interaction with peripheral vasodilators
Contraindications
- Patients with cardiac abnormalities
- Children below 18 years of age
- Patients using occlusive dressings or other scalp medicines
- Patients with red, inflamed, infected, or irritated or painful scalp
Side Effects
- Minor dermatological reactions
- Possible dermatitis or hypertrichosis
- Incidence rate of 0.1-5%

- Not to be used during pregnancy and lactation

- Higher likelihood of causing scalp irritation
