Indications
- Rapid acting wide spectrum microbicidal preparation for disinfecting hands

Composition
- 0.5% w/v Chlorhexidine Gluconate
- 70% v/v Isopropyl Alcohol
Pharmacology
Positive binding of chlorhexidine cation to negatively charged bacterial cell walls resulting in bactericidal effect
Dosage & Administration
- Disinfect clean hand; contaminated materials: Take 3 ml and scrub both hands' surface until dry
- Disinfect surgical instruments: Take 5 ml and immerse instruments for 2 minutes
- Disinfect skin prior to surgery or other invasive procedures: Take 3 ml with cotton and scrub on skin until dry
- Disinfect wound/wound dressing: Take 3 ml with cotton and scrub on the wound until dry
Interaction
Incompatible with soaps and other anionic agents, may cause brown stains with hypochlorite bleaches

Hypersensitivity to Chlorhexidine Gluconate
