Indications

Composition
- 0.5% w/v Chlorhexidine Gluconate
- 70% v/v Isopropyl Alcohol BP
Pharmacology
Bactericidal effect of chlorhexidine cation binding to bacterial cell walls
Dosage & Administration
- Disinfect clean hands: take 3ml and scrub until dried
- Disinfect surgical instruments: take 5ml and immerse for 2 minutes
- Disinfect skin prior to surgery: take 3ml and scrub until dried
- Disinfect wound/dressing: take 3ml and scrub until dried
Interaction
Incompatible with soaps and anionic agents, may cause brown stains with hypochlorite bleaches

Hypersensitivity to Chlorhexidine Gluconate
