Dosage & Administration

Interaction
- Concomitant administration with ketoconazole or erythromycin

- Avoid simultaneous intake with grapefruit or grapefruit juice
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Rupatadine or its excipients
Side Effects
- Common side effects: asthenia, dizziness, drowsiness
- Uncommon side effects: appetite increase, arthralgia, back pain, impaired concentration, constipation, cough, diarrhea, dry throat, epistaxis, fever, gastrointestinal discomfort, infection risk, irritability, malaise, myalgia, nasal dryness, nausea, oropharyngeal pain, rash, thirst, vomiting, weight increase

Pregnancy & Lactation
- No clinical data on exposure during pregnancy
- Potential benefits outweighing potential risks for the infant

- Use with caution in patients with prolonged QT interval, uncorrected hypokalemia, and proarrhythmic conditions
