Indications

Pharmacology
Fexofenadine is an 'inverse agonist' of the H1 receptor, preventing activation and downstream effects. It has potent and selective affinity for H1 receptors, without significant CNS effects.
Dosage & Administration
- Allergic Rhinitis:
- 60 mg twice daily
- 120 mg once daily
- 180 mg once daily
- Chronic Idiopathic Urticaria:
- 60 mg twice daily
- 120 mg once daily
- 180 mg once daily
Interaction
Coadministration with erythromycin or ketoconazole increases fexofenadine plasma levels. No interaction with omeprazole, but antacids should be administered 2 hours apart.

Known hypersensitivity to Fexofenadine Hydrochloride or any of its ingredients
