Indications

• Treatment of bacterial infections of the eye
• Treatment of bacterial infections of the eye adnexa
• Treatment of conjunctivitis
• Treatment of keratitis
• Treatment of corneal ulceration
• Treatment of ulcerative blepharitis
• Preventative application for ocular infection pre-operation
• Preventative application for ocular infection post-operation

Pharmacology

• Contains Polymixin-B sulphate
• Contains Bacitracin Zinc
• Sterile antimicrobial ointment
• Bactericidal antibiotics
• Polymixin-B sulphate binds with cellular membrane
• Bacitracin Zinc inhibits bacterial cell wall development

Dosage & Administration

• Apply ointment every 3-4 hours
• Course duration of 7-10 days
• Dosage may vary based on severity of infection
• Use as directed by physician

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity to Polymixin-B sulphate
• Hypersensitivity to Bacitracin Zinc
• Hypersensitivity to cross sensitizing substances
