Indications
- Topical treatment of Acne vulgaris
Pharmacology
- Combination of lincosamide antibiotic Clindamycin phosphate and retinoid Tretinoin
Dosage & Administration
- Apply before sleep, wash face gently, apply sunscreen in the morning, safety in children below 12 years not established
Interaction
- Concomitant use caution with potentially irritating topical products, decreased activity when used concomitantly with Erythromycin, increased activity with neuromuscular medicine
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to Clindamycin or Tretinoin or any other component of the Gel
Side Effects
- Erythema, scaling, nasopharyngitis, dry skin, cough, sinusitis, diarrhea
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Special caution for nursing mothers, unknown excretion in human milk
Precautions & Warnings
- Avoid application to eyes, nose, ear, lips, cut, burn, other infections, keep away from sunlight after application
