Depiquin 4% (Cream)

Indications

• Gradual bleaching of hyperpigmented skin conditions
• Reduction of hyperpigmentation caused by photosensitization
• Treatment of chloasma, melasma, freckles, senile lentigines

Pharmacology

• Topical depigmentating agent
• Inhibition of enzymatic oxidation of tyrosine
• Suppression of melanocyte metabolic processes

Dosage & Administration

• Application of thin film once daily
• At least 30 minutes before bedtime
• Use of mild cleanser before application
• Use of sunscreen of SPF 30 during the day
• Topical use only, not for oral or ophthalmic use

Contraindications

• Hypersensitivity or allergic reaction to hydroquinone or other ingredients

Side Effects

• Localized contact dermatitis
• Occasional hypersensitivity reactions
• Discontinue use in case of hypersensitivity

• Pregnancy Category C
• Potential risks to the fetus
• Caution advised during nursing

• Unwanted cosmetic effects if not used as directed
• Skin sensitivity test before use
• Avoid contact with eyes and lips
