Indications

Composition
- Ferrous Sulphate 150 mg
- Folic acid 0.5 mg
- Thiamine Mononitrate (vitamin B1 ) 2 mg
- Riboflavin (vitamin B2 ) 2 mg
- Nicotinamide (vitamin B3 ) 10 mg
- Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (vitamin B6 ) 1 mg
- Ascorbic acid (vitamin C) 50 mg
Pharmacology
- Iron essential for red blood cell production
- Folic acid essential for coenzyme production and erythropoiesis
- Vitamin C needed for collagen formation and tissue repair
- Vitamin B complex vital for maintaining cell health and energy levels
Dosage & Administration
- Recommended adult dose is one capsule daily
- In severe deficiency states, 2 capsules a day may be required
Interaction
- Care needed with Iron storage or absorption disease
- Iron chelates with antacids and Tetracycline affecting absorption
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any ingredients
- Contraindicated in haemachromatosis and haemosiderosis
- Cautious use in patients taking Levodopa

Precautions & Warnings
- Care needed in patients at risk of iron overload
- Risk of impaired absorption with tetracycline
Overdose Effects

- Riboflavin reported safe
- Higher Nicotinamide doses may cause vomiting, diarrhea
- Sensory neuropathy observed with high Pyridoxine intake
