Indications
- Treatment of Zinc, Iron, Folic Acid, B-vitamins and Vitamin-C deficiency during pregnancy and lactation
Composition
- Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate 61.8 mg
- Dried Ferrous Sulphate 150 mg
- Folic Acid (Vitamin-B9) 0.50 mg
- Thiamine Mononitrate (Vitamin-B1) 2 mg
- Riboflavin (Vitamin-B2) 2 mg
- Nicotinamide (Vitamin-B3) 10 mg
- Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin-B6) 1 mg
- Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin-C) 50 mg
Pharmacology
- Zinc sulfate precipitates protein and has astringent and weak antiseptic activity
- Iron is essential for red blood cell production and oxygen transport
- Folic acid is essential for coenzyme production and WBC/platelet production
- Nicotinamide is involved in multiple cellular metabolic pathways
- Vitamin C is necessary for collagen formation and tissue repair
- Vitamin B complex is important for cell health and energy
Dosage & Administration
- One capsule daily, or 2 capsules in more severe cases as directed by physician
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients

- Generally well tolerated, few allergic reactions may occur

Precautions & Warnings
- Care should be taken in patients at risk for iron overload, and iron chelates with tetracycline
Overdose Effects
- Accidental overdose of iron in children can cause fatal poisoning
- Higher doses of Nicotinamide may cause vomiting, diarrhea
- Sensory neuropathy observed with long-term high Pyridoxine consumption
- Zinc toxicity associated with low copper status, altered iron function, reduced immune function
