Composition
- 150 mg Ferrous Sulphate BP (47 mg Iron)
- 500 mcg Folic Acid BP
- 61.80 mg Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate USP (22.50 mg Zinc)
Dosage & Administration
- 1 capsule daily for Adults or Elderly
- 2 capsules daily in severe cases for Adults or Elderly
- 1 capsule daily for Children over 1 year
- Capsule can be opened and mixed with soft cool food for Children
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to components
- Iron overload

Pregnancy & Lactation
- Avoidance of drug use in first trimester of pregnancy
- Justified use of Iron, Folic Acid and Zinc in pregnancy
- Supplementary Zinc and Folic acid in inadequate diet during pregnancy
Precautions & Warnings
- Caution in patients with potential Iron overload
- Monitoring in patients with haemochromatosis, haemolytic anaemia, or red cell aplasia
- Investigation for other causes of anaemia if failure to respond to treatment
- Potential interactions with tetracycline, penicillamine, antacids
- Reduced absorption of Zinc in the presence of Iron
- Reduced absorption of Iron by penicillamine and antacids
- Reduced absorption of all three agents when chelated with tetracycline
- Possible Zinc accumulation risk in patients with renal failure
Overdose Effects
- Danger of Iron overdosage, especially in children
- Gastric lavage in early stages of Iron overdosage
- Oral desferrioxamine for Iron overdosage
- Corrosive effects of Zinc in gross overdosage
- Symptomatic and supportive measures for Zinc overdosage
- Delayed absorption of Iron and Zinc with timed-release capsule presentation
