Indications

Composition

  • Each capsule contains 50 mg Elemental iron (as carbonyl iron INN)
  • Each capsule contains 500 microgram Folic acid BP
  • Each capsule contains 61.80 mg Zinc sulphate monohydrate USP

Pharmacology

  • Timed-release capsule
  • Combined preparation of Carbonyl Iron, Folic Acid, and Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate
  • Carbonyl Iron with not less than 98% Iron content

Dosage & Administration

One capsule daily before food for adults

Interaction

  • Carbonyl Iron decreases the absorption of certain antibiotics and medications
  • Folic Acid interacts with antiepileptics

Contraindications

Hypersensitivity to any component or Iron overload

Side Effects

  • Gastrointestinal irritations like nausea, vomiting, constipation
  • Dark stool
  • Rare allergic reactions

Pregnancy & Lactation
