Indications
- Treatment and prevention of Iron, Vitamin B complex, and Zinc deficiencies
- Specially indicated for pregnancy and lactation
Composition
- Each 5 ml syrup contains
- Iron (III) Hydroxide Polymaltose Complex equivalent to elemental Iron 50 mg
- Thiamine Hydrochloride 5 mg
- Riboflavin-5-Phosphate Sodium equivalent to Riboflavin 2 mg
- Pyridoxine Hydrochloride 2 mg
- Nicotinamide 20 mg
- Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate equivalent to elemental Zinc 10 mg
Pharmacology
- Iron, Vitamin B complex, and Zinc preparation
- Controlled absorption of iron with Iron (III) Hydroxide Polymaltose Complex
- Non-ionic nature for stability
Dosage & Administration
- Adults: 5 ml-10 ml (1-2 teaspoonful) 3 times daily or as recommended by the physician
- Children: 5 ml (1 teaspoonful) 3 times daily or as recommended by the physician
- Infants: 0.33 ml/kg body weight daily or as recommended by the physician
Interaction
- Unlikely to have ionic interaction with foodstuff components and concomitant administrations of certain medicaments
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients
