Indications

Composition
- Each 5 ml syrup contains Iron (III) Hydroxide Polymaltose Complex equivalent to elemental Iron 50 mg
- Thiamine Hydrochloride 5 mg
- Riboflavin-5-Phosphate Sodium equivalent to Riboflavin 2 mg
- Pyridoxine Hydrochloride 2 mg
- Nicotinamide 20 mg
- Zinc Sulphate Monohydrate equivalent to elemental Zinc 10 mg
Pharmacology
- Iron (III) Hydroxide Polymaltose Complex for controlled absorption of iron
- More stable than conventional iron form due to non-ionic nature
Dosage & Administration
- Adults: 5 ml-10 ml (1-2 teaspoonful) 3 times daily or as recommended by the physician
- Children: 5 ml (1 teaspoonful) 3 times daily or as recommended by the physician
- Infants: 0.33 ml/kg body weight daily or as recommended by the physician
Interaction
- Unlikely to have ionic interaction with foodstuff components or concomitant administrations of certain medicaments
Contraindications
- Known hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients

Pregnancy & Lactation
- Recommended for use during pregnancy and lactation
Precautions & Warnings
- Caution in conditions with risk of Iron overload such as hemochromatosis, thalassemia, hemosiderosis or hemolytic anemia
Use in Special Populations
- Recommended for use in children
Overdose Effects
- Symptoms of overdose include epigastric pain, diarrhoea, vomiting, metabolic acidosis, and convulsion
- Emergency medical attention required in case of overdose
- Initial emetic should be given, followed by gastric lavage & general supportive measures
