Contraindications

Precautions & Warnings
- Caution in patients who may develop iron overload
- Caution in patients with hemochromatosis
- Caution in patients with hemolytic anemia
- Impaired absorption of tetracycline due to iron chelation

- Decreased energy
- Nausea
- Abdominal pain
- Tarry stool
- Weak, rapid pulse
- Fever
- Coma
