Dosage & Administration
- 0.5 mg tablet strength
- 3 times daily after meal
- 1 ampoule (Mecobalamin 500 mcg) daily for peripheral neuropathies
- IM or IV administration
- Adjustable dosage based on age and symptoms
- Not recommended for use in children
Interaction
- Reduced absorption by neomycin, aminosalicylic acid, histamine H2-antagonists, omeprazole, and colchicine
- Decreased serum concentrations by oral contraceptives
