Dosage & Administration

Contraindications
- No absolute contraindications
- Increased risk of anaphylaxis with repeated parenteral administration
- Mild allergic phenomena may lead to anaphylactic shock
- Avoid intravenous administration except in comatose patients
- No need for parenteral administration after correcting thiamine deficiency
