Pregnancy & Lactation

Oral tablet form is recommended, injection not recommended during pregnancy & lactation due to benzyl alcohol presence

Precautions & Warnings

  • Cyanocobalamin should not be given in patients with subacute degeneration of the spinal cord
  • Cyanocobalamin is not suitable for treating optic neuropathies associated with raised plasma concentrations of cyanocobalamin

Overdose Effects

No expected overdosage symptoms in recommended dosage, treatment is symptomatic & supportive if known overdose
