Indications

  • Treatment of polyneuropathy, neuritis, neuralgia, cervical syndrome, lumbago, sciatica, myalgia, herpes zoster, trigeminal neuralgia, supportive treatment in facial paresis

Composition

  • Vitamin B1 (Thiamine Mononitrate) 100 mg
  • Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride) 200 mg
  • Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin) 200 microgram
  • Thiamine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B1) 100 mg
  • Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) 100 mg
  • Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) 1000 mcg

Pharmacology

  • Conversion of carbohydrates, fatty acids, and amino acids into energy
  • Production of RBCs, proteins, and neurotransmitters
  • Cell replication, RBC production, prevention of anemia, and nerve pain reduction

Dosage & Administration

  • 1-3 tablets per day or as advised by the physician
  • Intramuscular injection in severe cases daily until symptoms subside, in mild cases 2-3 times per week

  • No reported drug interactions

Contraindications

  • Patients on levodopa therapy
  • Hypersensitivity to any of the ingredients

Side Effects

  • Generally well tolerated, rare allergic reactions

Pregnancy & Lactation

  • Oral tablet recommended during pregnancy & lactation
  • Injection not recommended due to benzyl alcohol

Precautions & Warnings

  • Avoid in patients with subacute degeneration of the spinal cord
  • Not suitable for optic neuropathies associated with raised plasma concentrations of cyanocobalamin

Overdose Effects

  • No expected symptoms in recommended dosage
  • Symptomatic & supportive treatment if overdose is known
