Composition

  • Tablet:
    • Vitamin B1 (Thiamine Mononitrate): 100 mg
    • Vitamin B6 (Pyridoxine Hydrochloride): 200 mg
    • Vitamin B12 (Cyanocobalamin): 200 microgram
  • Ampoule:
    • Thiamine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B1): 100 mg
    • Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6): 100 mg
    • Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12): 1000 mcg

  • Patients on levodopa therapy

Side Effects

Generally well tolerated but allergic reactions may be observed in few cases

Pregnancy & Lactation

  • Oral tablet: Recommended
  • Injection: Not recommended due to the presence of benzyl alcohol

Precautions & Warnings

  • Cyanocobalamin should not be given in patients with subacute degeneration of the spinal cord
  • Cyanocobalamin is not suitable for the treatment of optic neuropathies associated with raised plasma concentrations of cyanocobalamin

Overdose Effects

No expected symptoms in recommended dosage. Symptomatic & supportive treatment if known overdose
