Description

  • Composition:
    • Vitamin B1 100 mg
    • Vitamin B6 200 mg
    • Vitamin B12 200 microgram
    • Thiamine Hydrochloride 100 mg
    • Pyridoxine Hydrochloride 100 mg
    • Cyanocobalamin 1000 mcg
  • Pharmacology:
    • Vitamin B1 converts carbohydrates into energy
    • Vitamin B6 forms RBCs and neurotransmitters
    • Vitamin B12 essential for cell replication and RBC production
  • Dosage & Administration:
    • 1-3 tablets per day
    • 1 injection daily for severe cases
    • 1 injection 2-3 times per week for mild cases
    • Preferably injected intramuscularly
  • Interaction:
    • No reported drug interactions
  • Contraindications:
    • Contraindicated in patients on levodopa therapy
    • Contraindicated in patients with hypersensitivity to any ingredients
  • Side Effects:
    • Generally well tolerated
    • Possible allergic reactions
  • Pregnancy & Lactation:
    • Oral tablet form recommended during pregnancy & lactation
    • Injection not recommended due to presence of benzyl alcohol
  • Precautions & Warnings:
    • Cyanocobalamin should not be given in patients with subacute degeneration of spinal cord

    • No expected symptoms in recommended dosage
    • Treatment is symptomatic & supportive if overdose is known
