Indications
- Antispasmodic action in smooth muscles of abdominal cavity
- Treatment of gastro-intestinal and genito-urinary tract visceral spasms
- Relief from gastrointestinal and renal/biliary severe pain
Dosage & Administration
- Adult: 20mg four times daily for gastrointestinal spasms and dysmenorrhea
- Children (6-12 years): 10mg three times daily or as directed by physician
- Intramuscular injection: Standard dose of 20mg for muscular or neural application
Contraindications
- Prostatic hypertrophy
- Paralytic ileus or pyloric stenosis
- Glaucoma
- Pregnancy (first three months)
Side Effects
- Dry mouth
- Dilation of pupil
- Increased intra-ocular pressure
- Flushing
- Dizziness and giddiness
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Use with caution in the first trimester of pregnancy
Precautions & Warnings
- May cause blurred vision and mental disorientation
- Avoid operating vehicles or heavy machinery during medication
- Caution in case of hyperthyroidism, cardiac insufficiency, febrile conditions, and concomitant use with other anticholinergic drugs

Reconstitution
