Description
Virobion 100 mg Tablet is a vitamin supplement indicated for the treatment of polyneuropathy, neuritis, neuralgia, cervical syndrome, and other related conditions. It contains Vitamin B1, B6 & B12, which play essential roles in energy metabolism, nerve health, red blood cell production, and overall wellness.
Size
Tablet: Each tablet contains 100 mg of Vitamin B1, 200 mg of Vitamin B6, and 200 micrograms of Vitamin B12. Injection ampoule: 3 ml ampoule contains Thiamine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B1) 100 mg, Pyridoxine Hydrochloride (Vitamin B6) 100 mg, Cyanocobalamin (Vitamin B12) 1000 mcg.

Dosage & Administration
1-3 tablets per day or as advised by the physician. For injection, 1 injection daily in severe cases or 1 injection 2-3 times per week in mild cases, preferably intramuscularly. Not recommended for use in children.
Mode of Action
Vitamins are absorbed well orally and distributed to most tissues; Thiamine is not stored to a significant extent in the body and excess is excreted in urine; Pyridoxine is converted to active forms and stored in the liver; Cyanocobalamin is important for RBC production and nerve health, and prevents anemia.

Precautions & Warnings
Cyanocobalamin should not be given in patients with subacute degeneration of the spinal cord; Not suitable for the treatment of optic neuropathies associated with raised plasma concentrations of cyanocobalamin
Overdose Effects
No expected symptoms in recommended dosage; Treatment is symptomatic and supportive in case of known overdose
