Indications
- Antispasmodic medication
- Relief from gastrointestinal and genitourinary tract spasms
- Treatment for dysmenorrhea
- Relief from biliary and renal severe pain
Dosage & Administration
- Dosage for adults: 20mg four times daily
- Dosage for children (6-12 years): 10mg three times daily or as directed by a physician
- Injection dosage for adults: 20mg for muscle or bladder application, can be repeated after 30 minutes if necessary, higher frequency for endoscopy
Contraindications
- Prostatic hypertrophy patients should avoid use
- Elderly individuals should use with caution
- Contraindicated in paralytic ileus or pyloric stenosis
- Avoid use in patients with glaucoma or myasthenia gravis
Side Effects
- Dry mouth
- Dilation of pupils
- Increased intraocular pressure
- Flushing
- Skin dryness
- Bradycardia followed by tachycardia and arrhythmia
- Occasional fatigue, vomiting, dizziness, and staggering
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Use with caution in first three months of pregnancy
Precautions & Warnings
- May cause drowsiness and mental alertness impairment
- Use caution while driving or operating machinery
- Refrain from alcohol consumption
- Use with caution in thyrotoxicosis, cardiac insufficiency, or febrile conditions
- Caution required when co-administered with other anticholinergics, antihistamines, beta-blockers, or tricyclic antidepressants

Reconstitution
- Can be reconstituted with dextrose or 0.9% sodium chloride injection
