Indications

Composition
- Thiamine Hydrochloride 5 mg
- Riboflavin 2 mg
- Pyridoxine hydrochloride 2 mg
- Nicotinamide 20 mg
- D-Panthenol 5 mg
Pharmacology
- Pure form and therapeutically balanced proportions of vitamin B group
- Components of enzyme systems regulating carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism
- Specific biological roles in the body
- Deficiency causes glossitis, stomatitis, beriberi, pellagra, vascularization of cornea
Dosage & Administration
- Tablet/capsule: 1-2 tablets 3 times daily or as directed
- Syrup: 2-3 teaspoonful daily or as directed
- Injection: 2 ml daily for intramuscular and intravenous administration
Interaction
- Decrease in levodopa efficacy with pyridoxine
- Contraindicated in patients undergoing levodopa therapy
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any of the components

- Allergic and idiosyncratic reactions possible at lower levels
- Iron associated with gastrointestinal intolerance in some patients
