Indications
- Prophylactic or therapeutic nutritional supplementation in physiologically stressful conditions
- Conditions causing depletion or reduced absorption of essential B-vitamins manifested by glossitis, stomatitis, cheilosis, beriberi
Composition
- Thiamine Hydrochloride 5 mg
- Riboflavin 2 mg
- Pyridoxine hydrochloride 2 mg
- Nicotinamide 20 mg
- D-Panthenol 5 mg (injection only)
Mode of Action
- Contains the most important members of the vitamin B group in pure form and in therapeutically balanced proportions
- Components regulate carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism
- Deficiency causes glossitis, stomatitis, cheilosis, polyneuritis, beriberi, pellagra, and vascularisation of cornea
Dosage & Administration
- Tablet/capsule: 1-2 tablets/capsules 3 times daily or as directed
- Syrup: 2-3 teaspoonful daily or as directed
- Injection: 2 ml daily for intramuscular and intravenous administration or as directed
Interaction
- Not recommended for patients undergoing levodopa therapy due to decreased efficacy
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any of its components

- Possible allergic and idiosyncratic reactions at lower levels
