Dosage & Administration
- Usual adult dose: 1-2 tablets three times daily
- Adult injection dose: 2-4 ml subcutaneously or intramuscularly
- Acute stone colic injection dose: 2-4 ml intravenously
- Children's dose based on age and weight
- Combination with atropine in peptic ulcer treatment
Interaction
- Attenuates the action of levodopa
- Additive effect with concurrent use of analgesics, antimuscarinics, or benzodiazepines
Contraindications
- History of hypersensitivity to Drotaverine HCl
