Indications
- Prophylactic or therapeutic nutritional supplementation in physiologically stressful conditions
- Treatment for conditions causing depletion or reduced absorption of essential B-vitamins
- Management of glossitis, stomatitis, and cheilosis
Composition
- Thiamine Hydrochloride 5 mg
- Riboflavin 2 mg
- Pyridoxine hydrochloride 2 mg
- Nicotinamide 20 mg
- D-Panthenol 5 mg
Pharmacology
- Contains important members of the vitamin B group in pure form
- Regulates stages of carbohydrate, fat, and protein metabolism
- Deficiency causes glossitis, stomatitis, and polyneuritis
Dosage & Administration
- Recommended dose for tablet/capsule - 1-2 tablet/capsule 3 times daily
- Recommended dose for syrup - 2-3 teaspoonful daily
- Injectable dosage contains D-Panthenol 5 mg
Interaction
- Pyridoxine can decrease the efficacy of levodopa in parkinsonism treatment
Contraindications
- Contraindicated in patients hypersensitive to any of its components
