- Reduced circulating vitamin C levels by Oestrogen
- Reduced circulating vitamin C levels by Tetracycline
- Reduced circulating vitamin C levels by Aspirin
- Enhanced anticoagulant activity by high doses of vitamin E
- Impaired intestinal absorption of vitamins A and K by high doses of vitamin E
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any components

- Hypercarotenosis from large carotenoid intake
- Yellowish skin coloration from large carotenoid intake
- Gastrointestinal tract upset from large vitamin C doses
- Renal stone formation from large vitamin C doses
- Diarrhea from high vitamin E doses
- Abdominal pain or cramps from high vitamin E doses
- Fatigue from high vitamin E doses
- Reduced resistance to bacterial infection from high vitamin E doses
- Transiently raised blood pressure from high vitamin E doses
Pregnancy & Lactation
- No teratogenic effects in humans
Precautions & Warnings
- Caution in heavy smokers and alcoholics for beta carotene use
- Caution in hyperoxaluria patients for vitamin C use
- Caution in patients taking anticoagulant drugs for vitamin E use
