Dosage & Administration
Orally one tablet daily for adults and children over 5 years of age
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any components
- Not for severe specific deficiencies
- Not recommended for patients undergoing treatment with levodopa
- Not recommended for larger doses of vitamin A during the first trimester of pregnancy
Side Effects
Reported at substantially higher levels than in the tablet. Gastrointestinal intolerance with iron
Pregnancy & Lactation
Recommended daily dose should not be exceeded during the first trimester of pregnancy
Precautions & Warnings
Not for pernicious anemia or other megaloblastic anemia where vitamin B12 is deficient
