Indications
- Prevention and treatment of vitamin deficiency in children and infants
Composition
- Vitamin A: 1.2 mg
- Vitamin D: 10 mcg
- Vitamin C: 50 mg
- Thiamine Hydrochloride: 1 mg
- Riboflavin: 0.5 mg
- Pyridoxine Hydrochloride: 1 mg
- Niacinamide: 5 mg
- Dexpantothenol: 3 mg
Description
- Combination of vitamins used to provide essential nutrients and treat deficiencies caused by various conditions
Mode of action
- Vitamin A: Essential for retina function and tissue growth
- Vitamin B: Important for lipid and carbohydrate metabolism
- Vitamin B12: Required for erythropoiesis and myelin synthesis
- Vitamin E: Acts as an antioxidant
- Vitamin C: Necessary for collagen formation and tissue repair
- Vitamin D3: Regulates calcium and phosphate balance, aids in bone health
Dosage and administration
- Below 1 year: 9-10 drops (0.3 ml)
- 1 year and above: 23-25 drops (1.0 ml) once daily or as advised by physician
Contraindications
- Not suitable for patients with haemochromatosis or Wilson's disease
- Hypersensitivity to any ingredients
- Excessive doses of vitamin A and D can cause hypervitaminosis
