Dosage & Administration

Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any components
- Not for treatment of severe specific deficiencies of vitamins or minerals
- Not recommended for patients undergoing treatment with levodopa
- Larger doses of vitamin A during the first trimester of pregnancy may be teratogenic
Side Effects
- Gastrointestinal intolerance with iron at higher levels
- Specific vitamins and minerals associated side effects at substantially higher levels
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Recommended daily dose should not be exceeded during the first trimester of pregnancy
- Larger doses of Vitamin A may be teratogenic
Precautions & Warnings
- Not intended for treatment of pernicious anemia or megaloblastic anemia with deficient vitamin B12
