Pharmacology
- Essential for normal metabolic functions including hematopoiesis
- Vitamin B-group as components of enzyme system
- Regulate stages of carbohydrate, fat and protein metabolism

- Vitamin A essential for retina function and tissue growth
- Vitamin E as an antioxidant

Dosage & Administration
- Orally one tablet daily for adult
- Children over 5 years of age
- As directed by physicians
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to components
- Not for treatment of severe specific deficiencies
- Not recommended for patients undergoing levodopa treatment
- Larger doses of vitamin A during first trimester of pregnancy
Side Effects
- Reported with specific vitamins & minerals
- Iron associated with gastrointestinal intolerance
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Recommended daily dose not to be exceeded during first trimester of pregnancy
- Larger doses of Vitamin-A may be teratogenic
Precautions & Warnings
- Not for treatment of pernicious anemia or other megaloblastic anemia
