Indications

Composition
- Balanced combination of multivitamin and multimineral
- Adequate replenishment of vitamin and mineral deficiency

- Contains vitamin A, vitamin D, vitamin B1, vitamin B2, vitamin B6, nicotinamide, cyanocobalamin, calcium pantothenate, folic acid, vitamin C, vitamin E, ferrous sulphate, cupric sulphate, magnesium sulphate, zinc sulphate, potassium iodide, potassium sulphate
Pharmacology
- Essential for normal metabolic functions including hematopoiesis
- Vitamin B-group components regulate carbohydrate, fat, and protein metabolism
- Vitamin C involved in tissue repair and collagen formation
- Vitamin A essential for retina function and growth of epithelial tissue
- Vitamin E is an antioxidant preserving essential cellular constituents
- Vitamin D for prevention and cure of nutritional and metabolic rickets
- Iron, copper, manganese, zinc serve as catalysts in enzyme systems
Dosage & Administration
- Orally one tablet daily for adults
- Orally one tablet daily for children over 5 years of age
- Or as directed by physicians
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any of its components
- Not intended for treatment of severe specific deficiencies of vitamins or minerals
- Not recommended for patients undergoing treatment with levodopa
- Larger doses of vitamin A during the first trimester of pregnancy may be teratogenic
Side Effects
- Reported at substantially higher levels than in this tablet
- Iron associated with gastrointestinal intolerance in some patients
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Recommended daily dose should not be exceeded during the first trimester of pregnancy
- Larger doses of Vitamin-A may be teratogenic
Precautions & Warnings
- Not intended for treatment of pernicious anemia or other megaloblastic anemia where vitamin B12 is deficient
