- Vitamins: A (Retinol) BP, D USP, B1 (Thiamine) BP, B2 (Riboflavin) BP, B6 (Pyridoxine) BP, Nicotinamide BP, Cyanocobalamin USP, Calcium pantothenate USP, Folic acid BP, C BP, E BP
- Minerals: Ferrous Sulphate, Cupric Sulphate USP, Magnesium Sulphate USP, Zinc Sulphate USP, Potassium Iodide USP, Potassium Sulphate BP
Pharmacology
- Vitamins and minerals essential for normal metabolic functions
- Vitamin B-group components of enzyme system
- Vitamin C involved in tissue repair and collagen formation
- Vitamin A essential for retina function, growth, and differentiation of epithelial tissue
- Vitamin E is an antioxidant preserving essential cellular constituents
- Vitamin D for prevention and cure of nutritional and metabolic rickets
- Iron, Copper, Manganese, Zinc serve as catalysts in vital cellular functions
Dosage & Administration
- Orally once daily for adults and children over 5 years of age
- As directed by physicians
Contraindications
- Hypersensitivity to any of its components
- Not intended for treatment of severe specific deficiencies of vitamins or minerals
- Not recommended for patients undergoing treatment with levodopa as pyridoxine decreases the efficacy of levodopa
- Larger doses of vitamin A may be teratogenic during the first trimester of pregnancy
Side Effects
- Reported at substantially higher levels than those in this tablet
- Iron associated with gastrointestinal intolerance in some patients
Pregnancy & Lactation
- Recommended daily dose should not be exceeded during the first trimester of pregnancy
- Larger doses of Vitamin-A may be teratogenic
Precautions & Warnings
- Not intended for treatment of pernicious anemia or other megaloblastic anemia where vitamin B12 is deficient
