Interaction
- Decreases absorption of certain drugs when taken together
- Potential interactions with biphosphonates, quinolone antibiotics, tetracycline antibiotics, levothyroxine, phenytoin, tiludronate disodium, thiazide-type diuretics, aluminum-containing antacids, magnesium-containing antacids, mineral oil, stimulant laxatives, glucocorticoids, oral contraceptives, estrogen compounds, anti-inflammatories, corticosteroids

- Incomplete or infrequent bowel movements
