Indications

Pharmacology

Dosage & Administration
- Contains Calcium Orotate 400 mg and 740 mg
- 2-3 tablets recommended for 400 mg

Interaction
- Decreases absorption of biphosphonates, quinolone antibiotics, tetracycline antibiotics, levothyroxine, phenytoin, and tiludronate disodium
- Interacts with thiazide-type diuretics, aluminum- and magnesium-containing antacids, mineral oil, stimulant laxatives, glucocorticoids, oral contraceptives, estrogen compounds, anti-inflammatories, corticosteroids
Contraindications
- In conditions like incomplete or infrequent bowel movements, kidney stone, kidney disease, increased activity of the parathyroid gland, high amount of calcium in urine or blood, extreme loss of body water
