Dosage & Administration

500mg Calcium and 200 IU Vitamin D3 Tablet: 2 tablets daily or 1 tablet twice daily
500mg Calcium and 400 IU Vitamin D3 Tablet: 1 tablet twice daily
Best taken with or just after a meal to improve absorption

Interaction

Possible interaction with antacids containing calcium, aluminium, or magnesium
Possible interaction with calcitriol, vitamin D3 supplements
Possible interaction with digoxin, tetracycline, doxycycline, minocycline, oxytetracycline

Contraindications

Hypercalcaemia
Hyperthyroidism
Renal calculi and nephrolithiasis
Zollinger-Ellison Syndrome
