Dosage & Administration

One tablet once or twice daily with plenty of water or as directed by physician. Effervescent tablet to be dissolved in water and taken orally.

Interaction

Interactions with thiazide diuretics, corticosteroids, ion exchange resins, laxatives, tetracycline preparations, bisphosphonates, sodium fluoride, oxalic acid, phytic acid, and cardiac glycosides

Contraindications

  • Hypercalcemia and hyperparathyroidism
  • Hypercalciuria and nephrolithiasis
  • Hypersensitivity to the components
  • Severe renal insufficiencies
  • Concomitant digoxin therapy
