Composition
- Calcium Lactate Gluconate 1000 mg
- Calcium Carbonate (from Coral source) USP 327 mg
- Ascorbic Acid (Vitamin C) BP 500 mg
- Vitamin D3 400 IU as Colecalciferol BP
Pharmacology
- Calcium Gluconate essential for nerve, muscle, and cardiac function
- Prevention of bone loss
- Coral Calcium with structure similar to human bone
- Vitamin D3 aids calcium absorption and bone formation
- Vitamin C as powerful reducing agent and defense against infections
Dosage & Administration
- 1 effervescent tablet per day for adolescents & adults
- 1/2 effervescent tablet per day for children
- As prescribed by the physician for infants
- Dissolve one tablet in a glass of water
Interaction
- Thiazide diuretics can reduce urinary calcium excretion
- Phenytoin or barbiturates can decrease vitamin D effect
- Digitalis and other cardiac glycosides effect may be accentuated
- Reduced absorption with certain foods and medications
Contraindications
- Hypercalcaemia resulting from specific conditions
- Severe renal failure
- Hypersensitivity to tablet ingredients
Side Effects
- Mild gastrointestinal disturbances
- Occasional skin rash with Vitamin D supplements
- Rare cases of hypercalciuria and hypercalcaemia in long-term treatment
Pregnancy & Lactation

Overdose Effects
- Hypercalcaemia due to vitamin D toxicity
- Nausea, vomiting, polyuria, and constipation as symptoms
